From here, you can check your account balance. All you need to have is your account number, your bank name (abbreviated e.g. GTBank), and your mobile banking pass code. You can get your mobile banking pass code from your bank. You can also transfer money from your account to another.

 

How to Use More than Three Networks on a single SIM phone

For example, you have Glo and MTN, insert your Glo SIM into your phone and dial **21*YourMTNnumber#. You will be connected. Remove your Glo SIM and insert your MTN SIM. From then, any time someone calls your Glo line, your MTN line will beep/ring. You must have at least N50 airtime credit on both SIMs before this can be successful. You can cancel this by dialing ##21#.

On Visaphone, dial *447*RecipientNumber*Amount(without N sign)*1234#
On Starcomms, dial *678* RecipientNumber*1234#
On Etisalat, dial *267* RecipientNumber* Amount(without N sign)*1234#
On Glo, type a SMS containing ACT RecipientNumber Amount(without N sign) YourPIN 5555 and send to 131

 

How to Register a Caller Tune

MTN
Send a SMS containing ‘MENU’ to 4100. You will receive a reply containing the list of available songs. Select the song you want from the list and reply to 4100. Each request costs N100 and it is valid for 30 days from the date of setup.

 
Glo
Send a SMS containing ‘REG’ to 7728. You will receive a reply containing the list of available songs. Select the song you want from the list and reply to 7728. Each request costs N100 and it is valid for 30 days from the date of setup.

 

How to Send a ‘Call Me Back’ SMS

On Visaphone, dial *446*RecipientNumber *TypeofSMS#. Type of SMS can be 1 = Normal, 2 = Urgent, 3 = I Miss You
On Etisalat, dial *226*RecipientNumber# for ‘Please Call me’. Dial *226*TypeofSMS*RecipientNumber #. Type of SMS can be 1 = I love you, 2 = I landed safely, 3 = I am now available, 4 = It’s an emergency.
On MTN, dial *133*TypeofSMS*RecipientNumber #. Type of SMS can be 1 = Call me back, 2 = It’s an emergency, 3 = I love you
On Zain, dial *140*TypeofSMS*RecipientNumber #. Type of SMS can be 8 = Credit Me. For ‘Call Me Back’, dial *140*RecipientNumber #

 

How to Check WAEC, NECO and JAMB results from your phone

WAEC
Type a SMS containing WAEC*ExamNumber*PINnumber*Year* and send to 32327. You will receive your result in a moment. Your PIN number is the PIN you got from your WAEC scratch card. ‘Year’ is the year you sat for WAEC. You must have a minimum of N100 to do this. This is applicable to MTN, Glo and Zain.

NECO
Type a SMS containing “www.neconigeria.org” RegistrationNumber*Year*PINnumber* and send to 32327. You will receive your result in a moment. Your PIN number is the PIN you got from your WAEC scratch card. ‘Year’ is the year you sat for WAEC. You must have a minimum of N100 to do this. This is applicable to MTN, Glo and Zain.

JAMB
Type a SMS containing “www.jambonline.org*PINnumber* and send to 32327. You will receive your result in a moment. Your PIN number is the PIN you got from your WAEC scratch card. ‘Year’ is the year you sat for WAEC. You must have a minimum of N30 to do this. This is applicable to MTN, Glo and Zain.

How to Conduct a Pregnancy Test using your Smart Phones

Simply type **18p# on your smart phone and place it on the person’s stomach. If your smart phone still displays **18p#, it means the person is pregnant. If the person is not pregnant, it will display ‘Request’.

 
To determine how many weeks or months, use the codes below;
B+0.1 for One week
B+0.2 for Two Weeks
B+1 for One Month
B+9 for Nine Months

How to get Important information on your Nokia Phone

Type *#0000# to know the manufacturing date and version/model of your phone.
Type *#06# to see your phone’s IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number.
Type *#9270689# to check your phone’s warranty. You will see the serial number, scroll down to see the other details like production date, expiry date and repairs. For repairs, you will see six digits (000000), anything less than this tells you how often the phone has been repaired.
