How to Fail in Network Marketing Business

Today, I will be revealing to you the characteristics that shows that you might fail in a Network Marketing business even if you do something about the business. 1. No Team or No Upline Support

Once a person signs up with a new Network Marketing business, he/she needs a lot of help. This he/she can get from their upline. An upline is someone who brought you into the Network Marketing business. You should get all the support you require from not only your upline but your team too.

2. Inability to Market or Sell

This is probably the major reason most people do not make it Network Marketing. By using standard Network Marketing techniques, you have got to help people, market and sell. You would also need to learn how to speak about the business opportunity at meetings and the likes.

If you can’t sell or market, you need to learn the act and put it to practice. The best place to learn is by acting. I didn’t learn marketing at school but I am getting better at it. Marketing/selling is more than just exchanging products/services for money. It is more about filling a need.

3. Inability to Generate Good Leads

Here is a picture of what normally happens. The new person has just signed up in an exciting Network Marketing program. He is taught by the manuals, meetings and so forth, how he should “share” the benefits and products with his friends, neighbors and relatives. Normally, he is not comfortable with this, and if he is typical, he will have many sleepless, tossing and turning nights. He just doesn’t want to “impose” on his friends! He would feel a lot more comfortable just presenting his opportunity to strangers.

It is easy to generate leads only if you know how to. If you suck at this, you need to learn how to and get this failure past you. You might want to search through all the posts we have on for how to generate leads or how to expand your business. That should help.

4. No System to Duplicative

If the Network Marketing company must be promoted through expensive methods, this is not feasible. Learning how to sell, or to speak and conduct an opportunity meeting is just not duplicative. Either way, you can use the help of a fellow distributors or leaders in the Network Marketing business to help you conduct an opportunity meeting.

You should look for Network Marketing business whose success story can be easily duplicated.

5. Using Traditional Method of Selling

The traditional way to Network Marketing is to spend all spare time to call around and travel around to get prospects. A lot of people already have full time job, it is hard to find extra time to travel and make phone calls. This is why these MLM marketers cannot keep their program going.

6. Lack of Understanding what Network Marketing is all about

Often a person will sign up in a Network Marketing business in a “fit of excitement.” After the dust clears, he comes down to earth and reality slowly sets in. To get yourself over this, pick an established and financially sound Network Marketing company that is at least two years old with unquestionable products or services. That way, you can get to know more about the company and products that you are promoting. You should have a good understanding of the Network Marketing company. There is nothing quite like being able to “tell the complete truth” to your prospective customers.

7. Impatience

Starting any company takes time, and this is true with a Network Marketing company as well. By the time you study the program, learn more about the opportunity, receive help, support, sign up and then some other things, a lot of time has been spent. And then you have to generate your leads and so on.

It will take some months before you can expect much of anything to happen to your Network Marketing business. You should set in your mind that you are going to stick with this for at least some months or years. That just makes good business sense. It should be months of consciously building your Network Marketing business

8. Laziness

Many people are lazy because it is easy to earn money as an employee but takes more time to make more money. Network Marketing is more about making more money than earning money. Even though at first, you will earn money but if you want to build wealth, you need to make money, and that takes hard work.

If you are not ready to work hard, forget about becoming part of Network Marketing business.
