GTBank Mobile Money: How to Load Money, Send Money and Withdraw Money

After successfully downloading, registering and activating your GTBank mobile money, the next thing is to know how to load money, send money and withdraw money from the GTBank mobile money application on your mobile phone. If you don’t have the GTBank mobile money application on your phone yet, you should follow the steps to download the GTBank mobile money application. Then register and activate the application. After which you will need to follow the steps further below.

 

How to Load Money into GTBank Mobile Money

You can deposit money (load money or fund) into your mobile money account through the following means:

- Through your phone if you are a customer of GTBank and have linked your GTBank account to your mobile money wallet.
- If you are a customer of another bank you can transfer either through NIPS transfer or through the Quickteller portal
- Through Point of Sale (POS) terminals enabled with FUND WALLET
- Through GTBank ATMs using your GTBank card

It easy to load money into your GTBank mobile money application using any of the means stated above.

 

How to Send Money from your GTBank Mobile Money

To send money to a Mobile Money subscriber
- Log in to your account by inputting your phone number and your pin – for downloaded apps
- Go to Mobile Money menu on the SIM menu
- Select “Send Money”
- Two Options will be displayed
- Select “To Others”
- Select “From Bank” or “Wallet” depending on which account you want to effect the transfer from
- Select “To Phone”
- Type the receiver’s Mobile number
- Enter the amount you wish to send
- Enter your Account PIN
- Confirm the details supplied

You will receive a message on your phone confirming the completion of the transaction

 
To Send Money to Non-Mobile Money subscribers

- Log in to your account by inputting your phone number and your pin.
- Select “Send Money”
- Two Options will be displayed
- Select “Others”
- Select From Bank or Mobile Money account depending on which account you want to effect the transfer from
- Select “To Unregistered Phone”
- Type the receiver’s Mobile number
- Enter the amount you wish to send
- Provide the beneficiary’s first name and last name
- Enter your Account PIN
- Confirm the details supplied

You will receive a message on your phone confirming the completion of the transaction. The beneficiary would also receive a message stating the code to use in cashing out the funds from an ATM

 

How to Withdraw Money from your GTBank Mobile Money

To Enable cash-out from your account via ATM, you can do the following;

- Log on to your account on the Mobile Money app. Or Select “My Account” on the SIM menu
- Initiate a cash out request from your phone
- Select Cash Out
- Then Select “From ATM”
- Type the amount you wish to withdraw and Enter your Account PIN

You would get a message with a Fund Access Code (FAC) that would enable you cash out from an ATM. After which you will need to

- Visit any GTBank ATM
- Select ‘Cardless Withdrawal’
- Enter the Amount, your Phone Number, The Fund Access Code (FAC) and your Account PIN and your cash will be dispensed.

    Please.i’ve linked my mobile wallet with my gtbank account but whenever i want to transfer money either from wallet or from bank,after i convirmed the transaction they also ask of a ‘ref’ but i don’t understand what it means.what do they expect me to put there?Thanks.

      Hello Hassan, you will need to visit a GTBank branch near to you. Make the complain to the customer service and you should be able to carry out what you want to do.
