How to Make Money from PocketMoni
You can make money from PocketMoni either as an agent, aggregator or a merchant. This means you need to become an agent, aggregator or a merchant.
Becoming an Agent
AGENT REQUIREMENTS
1. Fill Agent application form with any Aggregator
2. Submit the following documents to Aggregator
· Bank Account Statement
· Duly signed application form
· Means of identification (Drivers license, International passport, National Card)
· Proof of address (Utility Bill)
· 1 passport affix to the application form
3. A pre-installed dedicated phone (N9,500) for mobile money operation (Optional)
4. A location for mobile money operation (this will be inspected and certified by eTranzact)
5. A human resource to operate mobile money
6. Agent registration fee of N6,000 paid to any of our participating banks.
7. Agent training by eTranzact or Aggregator
8. A certificate permitting Agent to operate eTranzact mobile money
9. eTranzact Mobile Money Barge (ID)
10. Transactional Log
11. eTranzact mobile money efloat account (N20,000 minimum).
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN AGENT
· Recruit users for the mobile money service
· Facilitate transactions such as deposit, withdrawal, transfers, payments, etc for users
· Assist in resolving user issues or escalate to the proper channel where necessary
· Report on daily activities to Aggregator
· Carry out any other service required to actualize the success of the Agent Management
Becoming an Aggregator
AGGREGATOR REQUIREMENTS
1. Fill Aggregator application form with eTranzact
2. Submit the following documents to eTranzact
· Bank Account Statement
· Duly signed application form
· Means of identification (Drivers license, International passport, National Card)
· Proof of address (Utility Bill)
· 2 passport affix to the application form
3. A pre-installed dedicated phone (We recommend Samsung GT-E2152 for PocketMoni operation)
4. Minimum of 3 locations for mobile money operation (this will be inspected and certified by eTranzact)
5. A human resource in all the 3 locations to operate mobile money
6. Aggregator registration fee of N15,000 (Kindly visit Intercontinental Bank Plc and request to register for
eTranzact Mobile Money Mteller Agent)
7. Mobile money training organized by eTranzact
8. A certificate permitting Aggregator to operate eTranzact PocketMoni
9. eTranzact PocketMoni Barge (ID)
10. eTranzact PocketMoni efloat account (N100,000 minimum)
11. A functional computer
12. An internet connection
13. Helpdesk phone line and a customer care personnel to support mobile money services.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN AGGREGATOR
· Recruit Agents for the mobile money service
· Serve as anchor between eTranzact and Agents
· Manage Agent and ensure compliance with set polices in the AMF
· Report on Agent activities
· Channel all Agent requests/issues to eTranzact
· Carry out all other activities required to run an effective Agent Network.
Becoming a Merchant
